1. Purpose

This Data Deletion Policy explains how Bora Stays handles requests to delete personal data, including data received through Meta products such as Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Meta Business Tools, Facebook Login, or related Meta platform integrations.

This page is intended to serve as Bora Stays' public Data Deletion Instructions URL for Meta app review and user data deletion requests.

2. Scope

This policy applies to personal data processed by Bora Stays through our website, booking platform, guest support channels, marketing integrations, social media integrations, reservations, property services, and related hospitality operations.

Meta platform data may include information made available to Bora Stays through a Meta-connected feature, such as an app-scoped user identifier, name, email address, profile information, lead form details, message metadata, or other information you authorized Meta to share with us.

3. How to Request Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your Bora Stays data by emailing system@accentrixcloud.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".

To help us locate the correct records, include the email address or phone number used with Bora Stays, your full name, the Meta account or social channel involved if applicable, and a short description of the data you want deleted.

If you contacted Bora Stays through Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, a Meta lead form, or another Meta product, please mention that in your request so we can identify and remove the relevant Meta platform data.

4. Meta App Removal Requests

If you remove a Bora Stays-connected app or integration from your Facebook or Meta account and request deletion of associated data through Meta, Bora Stays will treat that request as a valid request to delete Meta platform data we hold about you, subject to identity matching, security checks, and lawful retention requirements.

Where Meta provides an app-scoped user identifier or request reference, we will use that identifier only to locate, process, and document the deletion request.

5. What We Delete

After verifying the request, Bora Stays will delete or anonymize personal data that is no longer required for a legitimate business, legal, security, accounting, dispute-resolution, or fraud-prevention purpose.

• Profile and account records connected to your Bora Stays use.
• Meta platform data received through Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Meta Business Tools, Facebook Login, lead forms, or similar Meta integrations.
• Marketing audience identifiers, campaign lead records, and social inquiry records where retention is not required.
• Support messages, inquiry records, and reservation preferences where deletion is legally and operationally permitted.
• Stored device, analytics, and technical identifiers associated with your request where they can reasonably be linked to you.

6. Data We May Need to Retain

Some records may be retained when required or permitted by law, contract, accounting standards, tax obligations, fraud prevention, safety, security, chargeback handling, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our Terms of Service.

Where full deletion is not possible, we will restrict, minimize, or anonymize retained data where reasonably practical and lawful.

• Payment, invoice, tax, and accounting records required for statutory retention.
• Booking, check-in, stay, incident, damage, refund, chargeback, or dispute records needed to resolve active or potential claims.
• Security logs and fraud-prevention records needed to protect Bora Stays, guests, hosts, property owners, and service providers.
• Records we must keep to comply with Kenyan law, court orders, regulator requests, or other applicable legal obligations.

7. Verification

For your protection, Bora Stays may ask you to verify your identity or prove control of the email address, phone number, booking reference, account, or Meta-linked channel associated with the data.

We may decline or limit a deletion request if we cannot reasonably verify that the requester is authorized to act for the relevant person or account.

8. Processing Timeline

Bora Stays aims to acknowledge deletion requests within 7 business days and complete verified deletion requests within 30 days, unless a longer period is required because of request complexity, legal obligations, operational dependencies, or active disputes.

When deletion is complete, restricted, or denied in part, we will provide a response using the contact method available to us where reasonably possible.

9. Confirmation and Records

Bora Stays may keep a limited deletion request log containing the request date, requester identifier, confirmation status, deletion outcome, and minimal evidence required to demonstrate compliance.

This confirmation log is retained only as needed for legal, audit, security, and compliance purposes.
